This article presents a practical framework for integrating medical terminology instruction throughout undergraduate nursing curricula to support comprehension, clinical reasoning, and student success.

 

Developed from direct teaching experience, the 6-Step Terminology Integration Model offers nurse educators a scalable approach to strengthening foundational medical language proficiency while supporting student preparedness for academic and clinical practice.
